Hope Valley Health & Wellness is a residential treatment program located in Wasilla, Alaska, that is exclusively built to serve the Veterans and active-duty service members of the United States military. While the facility is located in the Mat-Su Valley, Hope Valley provides care to Veterans from across Southcentral Alaska, including Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, and the communities along the Glenn Highway corridor.
Alaska remains one of the states with the highest concentrations of Veterans per capita in the country. Many of these Veterans have experienced the difficulties of combat, deployments, and other aspects of military service without accessing treatment that reflects their experiences. Hope Valley was built to close this gap.
Who We Serve
Our program is open to Veterans and active-duty service members of all branches. We accept TRICARE and TriWest, making residential care accessible to most who need it. Self-pay is also accepted.
Treatment at Hope Valley is residential only. Clients live on site in small, gender-separate homes on two private acres in Wasilla for the duration of their program. Each home holds a maximum of six residents – intentionally small so that the environment stays focused, personal, and built around real recovery rather than volume.

How Can I Pay for Treatment?

At Hope Valley, there is no fine print when we say your coverage is accepted. We verify your benefits for veterans and active-duty military personnel and let you know exactly what to expect in terms of out-of-pocket costs before your admission.
We never charge you more than your copay or your deductible for the services provided. We maximize the authorizations from TriWest or TRICARE.
