Hope Valley's Complete Care in Wasilla, Alaska

Customized Rehab for Women

Hope Valley’s 30-, 60-, and 90-day Residential Drug and Alcohol Rehab program is customized for women veterans and active-duty military at our dedicated Alaska facility. This program offers patient-centered treatment, individual therapy, group counseling, and family therapy in home-like residential settings.

Our goal is to help each woman break free from the physical and psychological grip of addiction so she can live a happy, healthy life.

Hope Valley’s Lifetime Aftercare benefit provides free weekly aftercare support for life, helping graduates maintain lasting sobriety.

All rooms are semi-private (two per room) to reduce isolation and foster camaraderie. The houses include relaxing living rooms with wall-mounted flat-screen TVs, dining rooms, full kitchens, comfortable mattresses, fresh linens, and private backyard patios. While each house is gender-specific, women share many therapy groups. Residents can choose to eat meals together as a community or in their houses.

Experienced Care

Evidence-Based Treatment Approach

Our experienced team of master’s-level therapists, drug addiction counselors, doctors, nurses, and support staff – many veterans themselves – provides clinically proven therapy and counseling techniques. Evidence-based approaches used in group and individual settings include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and neurobiology of addiction.
We also introduce 12-step support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, plus alternatives such as SMART Recovery and LifeRing – tailored for women veterans and active-duty military.

Our Mission is to provide women veterans and active-duty military members with the tools for positive, lasting change in Hope Valley’s safe, compassionate Alaska setting – where physical, spiritual, and emotional healing can be realized.

Peaceful Healing

Whole Person Therapy and Experiential Activities

Because therapy can be physically and mentally taxing, Hope Valley offers experiential activities and holistic experiences to bring peace, reduce stress, and promote physical and emotional well-being for women veterans and active-duty military. Examples include yoga, acupuncture, daily recreation therapy, and art therapy.

We partner with Battle Dawgs, immersing clients in their veteran wellness activities weekly for additional holistic support.

What Sets Us Apart

Why Choose Hope Valley

Hope Valley is family-run and independent, built on a founding organization with nearly 40 years in veteran and behavioral health care, so our focus stays on quality of care rather than corporate volume. We work through TRICARE, TriWest, and the VA, and most clients pay little to nothing out of pocket for covered treatment. If you or someone you love is struggling with addiction, call us today and our admissions team will verify your exact benefits at no charge.

Why Choose Us

The Hope Valley Difference

FAQs

How Can I Pay for Treatment?

Many alcohol and drug rehab centers advertise that “insurance is accepted,” but the fine print often reveals you must bill your insurance yourself. This means they are not preferred providers, leaving you responsible for the full cost upfront - a major risk when facing tens of thousands in expenses during early recovery.
At Hope Valley, we make payment simple and secure for veterans and active-duty military:
Most of the veterans and service members we treat pay little to nothing out of pocket. Here are the three paths in:

VA Direct Referral
Most veterans come to us referred directly by the VA, which authorizes and covers the care. Typically no out-of-pocket cost.

TriWest (VA Community Care)
Veterans can use their VA benefits at Hope Valley through TriWest, the VA Community Care Network in Alaska. Most pay nothing out of pocket.

Active-Duty TRICARE
TRICARE covers active-duty service members, and most pay little to nothing out of pocket. We verify your exact benefits for you.

Whichever path applies, our admissions team confirms your coverage and tells you any out-of-pocket amount before admission, at no charge. If you don't have coverage or prefer to self-pay, call us for a confidential conversation about options and cost.

At Hope Valley, there is no fine print when we say your coverage is accepted. We verify benefits for veterans and active-duty military, telling you exactly what out-of-pocket expenses to expect during pre-admission.

We never charge more than your copay or deductible for covered services and maximize authorizations from TriWest or TRICARE.

Billing your insurance is handled entirely by us, so you can focus on recovery. In most cases TriWest/Tricare cover up to 100% of costs with zero out-of-pocket. Call Us Now for a confidential verification and begin your journey today.

If you do not have insurance or prefer self-pay, please reach out for a confidential call to discuss treatment options and costs for veterans and active-duty military at Hope Valley.
