Everything You Need to Know

Certainly. While some facilities may charge upwards of $1000 per day for Detox and Rehabilitation services, we strive to maintain a cost-effective approach to ensure that assistance is accessible for those in need.

No, there is no evidence to suggest that a higher program cost necessarily leads to better treatment outcomes for individuals seeking recovery. In fact, extensive research indicates that the most critical factors influencing success in treatment are not the financial aspects but rather the utilization of evidence-based therapies. This includes approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, which is effective in changing harmful thought patterns, along with intensive individual and family counseling delivered by masters-level therapists and addiction specialists. Additionally, a crucial factor that often determines the efficacy of treatment is a person's own commitment and dedication to their recovery journey, as this internal drive plays a vital role in achieving lasting change.

In most cases, your TRICARE or TriWest insurance will cover most - if not all - of your treatment costs at Hope Valley, since we participate as a network provider specifically for Veterans and active duty personnel. This seamless coverage supports our full continuum of care without unexpected out-of-pocket expenses for eligible clients.

Note that we do not accept Medicaid, though flexible self-pay arrangements are available for those without insurance. Contact us for a free benefits verification.

Every treatment plan is designed to fit the specific needs of each person. However, those dealing with drug or alcohol addiction or mental health disorders often need long-term treatment for a successful recovery. A stay of at least 90 days is usually recommended, which can include 30 to 60 days of residential care. This extended time is crucial because it can take up to a year for the brain to heal after treatment. The risk of relapse is highest in the first 6 months after leaving treatment. Ultimately, successful recovery depends on fully completing the program and participating in aftercare services or support groups.

Yes. Individuals who complete our 30-day Residential Rehab can receive free aftercare services for life, including a weekly support group led by a qualified counselor. This ongoing support reinforces skills learned during treatment and fosters a supportive community for recovery.

Usually, the answer is no. Our experienced Psychiatrist and/or Addictionologist will provide the medical clearance you need during the Admissions process. Our caring Nurses are also here to help you during the medical evaluation, making sure every part of your health is checked and understood. We're here to support you in this important step of your journey.

Yes, Hope Valley specializes in treating co-occurring disorders for Veterans and active duty service members, addressing addiction and mental health conditions like PTSD and depression. Our trauma-informed program uses evidence-based therapies like EMDR and Seeking Safety to treat substance use and behavioral health issues concurrently.

This highly depends on the specific medications you are currently taking, as well as whether or not those medications are contributing to your addiction or mental health disorder. Our experienced Psychiatrist will conduct a thorough evaluation of your current medications, taking into account their effects and any potential side effects. If necessary, they will prescribe alternate medications tailored to your unique needs to assist you effectively in your recovery journey, ensuring that you receive the best possible support.

Yes. While many expensive programs claim that treatment works best far from home, this is not true and lacks research support. Studies show that people with strong aftercare support and who take part in Alumni Support after their residential stay are more likely to succeed. Family involvement is crucial, and it may be limited if you choose a treatment center outside your hometown.

Yes, of course. We take pride in our team of licensed therapists and addiction specialists who are well-trained to support families and friends. Their main aim is to guide interventions in a caring and effective way, helping loved ones talk about their concerns and promoting a positive discussion that encourages change.

No. Just call our main Intake Line at (907) 318-2180. Our Admissions specialists are available 24/7 to answer your questions and help you get started. They can check your insurance benefits and assist you with scheduling your assessment and admission.

We can often set up an admission within 1 to 2 days after the first call.

Yes, absolutely. We want to assure you that all of your personal information will be kept strictly confidential, in accordance with HIPAA regulations as well as State and Federal laws. This means that your treatment information will not be disclosed to anyone without your express written consent. The only exceptions to this policy are those individuals you specifically authorize us to share information with, such as a parent, guardian, trusted friend, or loved one. Your privacy is our highest priority, and we take all necessary measures to protect it.

The first step is a confidential phone call to Hope Valley for a free insurance verification and clinical assessment. We'll review your TRICARE/TriWest benefits, discuss your needs (addiction, co-occurring disorders, military background), and create a personalized treatment plan.

From there, you'll transition smoothly into our continuum of care - starting with medically monitored detox if needed, followed by residential treatment in our small, gender-separate houses (max 6 residents).
